How to upgrade an older Installed Version 2.x: please download from a link below and install over the top of the older installed version 2.x. (download filename is spm2867.zip)

How to upgrade from an earlier USB Version 2.x to the latest USB version 2.x:

1. Start your USB version software
2. Click on Help/Check for Update
3. Download the upgrade patch from the link shown in the web page. Follow the upgrade instructions in the web page - exit the software before running the patch.
4. Note: when the patch is complete and appears to exit, use task manager to make sure it has exited. If not, kill the task. We are working on finding a newer patch utility.

DO NOT install the trial 'installed' version onto a USB flash drive - it will not work - use Help/Check for Update from within the USB version to get the upgrade patch.

Warning: If you choose to install v2.x over the top of v1.x, the user database spmap.db3 will be upgraded permanently with changes that are not compatible with the old v1.x. If you are evaluating the latest v2.x, please install it on another machine or VM for your trial period and leave your current v1.x installation as it is.

How to upgrade an older Installed Version 1.x: please download from a link below and install over the top of the older installed version 1.x. Run the new software and it will upgrade the user database spmap.db3 for use with v2.x.
